End of the year calendar changes, reminders announced

On April 7, the Rockland Central School Board approved the following changes to the school calendar:
As long as no more emergency days are used, Tuesday, May 26, will be a give back day, with no school for students and staff.
June 22, 23 and 24 will be half days for elementary students.
Additional notes on the end of the year calendar:
Tuesday, June 16, will be the last day of school for middle and high school students. The senior walk will be at 2 p.m. (These dates were wrong in the printed calendar.) After this, students in grades 9-12 will only come in for scheduled Regents exams.
Thursday, June 18, will be the last full day for students in the elementary building.
There will be no school for staff and students Friday, June 19, in honor of Juneteenth.
Elementary students will be dismissed at 11:30 a.m. Monday-Wednesday, June 22-24. They will be regular work days for faculty and staff.
There will be no school for students on June 25, other than high school students who will be taking a Regents Exam that day. It will be a regular day for faculty and staff.
No students will report on June 26, as it is Rating Day. It will be a regular work day for faculty and staff.
Graduation will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 27, at the Rockland Middle/High School.
